Marlene Eader

As a resident of Gahanna, Marlene Eader's commitment to education is evident. She is a member of the Board of Education for Gahanna-Jefferson City Schools, the Ohio School Board Association, the National School Board Association Conference, and the OSBA workshops on student achievement, school funding, and legislation. She has been a member of The Ohio State University at Newark Board of Trustees since 2002.

She has been active in school, community, and church organizations including, Athletic Boosters, PTA, and Cub Scouts. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude and Human Resource Management. She served as a Human Resource Executive for The Limited Stores, Inc. for 12 years.

Her awards include:

• Phi Sigma Scholastic Honorary Award, 1993, OSU-Newark
