Francesca Amigo is the public relations specialist for Ohio State Newark. She joined the MPR office in 2006 in the department’s only non-cost-shared position. Francesca works with faculty, staff, students and the Dean/Director to create and maintain positive relationships with the neighboring community and beyond. She is co-editor of the newsletter Profiles and writes press releases and copy for the web, print and radio. She coordinates the Dean/Director’s annual Faculty Lecture Series and has helped to organize numerous events at Ohio State Newark.

Francesca’s professional background includes event planning, communications and development, specializing in not-for-profits and higher education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in communications with a focus on journalism and public relations from West Virginia State University. She is currently an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as well as a member of the American Association of University Women, (AAUW).
